Artist residency programs give artists the opportunity to live and work outside of their usual environments by exploring new locations, different cultures and experimenting with different materials.
Alain recently returned from his artist residency, organised by Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival in collaboration with Esch2022 - European Capital op Culture, with the support of the Luxembourg Embassy in Cape Verde.
Check out some of his work he painted with paint brush and not as usual with spray cans in Brava, Tarrafal, Sao Filipe and Maio below.
